Get the Word Out on Tutoring!

Students do not have to pay a tutoring company to get quality assistance! During the summer as in other terms, the AT Teaching Center will offer free tutoring for mathematics, science, business, and engineering courses. There are several tutoring services provided, including drop-in, tutoring by appointment, and supplemental instruction (group study sessions). The AT Reading and Writing Center provides individual assistance to those wishing to develop their writing, better understand the writing process, and improve reading comprehension and study strategies. Both tutoring centers are located in SW Broward Hall.
The Teaching Center also offers TV Tutoring. TutorTime broadcasts free tutoring via TV on Housing Channel 15 (on-campus) or by live video stream (on or off campus). Students can watch our live broadcast and call in with their questions during the show. Questions for the tutors may also be submitted using our online form anytime. Faculty members are encouraged to place a link to the Teaching Center web site on e-Learning or other places where their syllabus is published.
